The legends have it, the reason of Greek superiority was embedded in the various cultural activities it promoted. The vision of a cultural fest has once again given the students a wee bit idea about the refinness it automatically brings. The first vibrations was started way back in 2007. this was the brainchild of our present director. Through the support of the students and faculty members it had come to take place in the autumn month of September. Initially it had started with only 18 events. The erstwhile co-coordinator was anshul dhawan. It was only trough the generous contribution of college worth rs.5000 it got kick started and finished off at a all time and first time high. it appeared as a novel and incredible idea since then to promote the hidden talent of the students who remain immersed in their books throughout their college life. Not only it allowed a vent to their potential but gave them a scope to achieve new heights on a greater level. Although we have seen better college fest all around our country which makes ours look diminutive, its worthwhile to know that after being cut off through our main center and its repressive control we finally managed to bring the show. It has allowed students to show their talent in organizational skill.
The second installment of the vibrations was coordinated by Arijit Bhatia. This time sponsors were also sought to make the event even grander than before .This led a special team sponsorship committee to be established which went from door to door in a struggle to bridge the gap between the deficit of money and higher expectations of the students. They managed to bring in Rs. 18,000. This did help in a generous way for improving the light and sound show of the stage area. Though most of the events had to organized in the vicinity of our college , the improved presentation brought a enthusiasm in the students. The second installment of the vibrations took off with new events under its wings. There were 22 events from previous 18. This allowed greater chance to all the students from various branches and courses to showcase theirs talent. The idea of getting more events involved a lot more students in the managing committee which gave birth to the cultural committee with arijit Bhatia as its coordinator. They performed their task to the best of their abilities. This cultural fest allowed students who had to take part in the annual day show to be short listed on the merit based list. It gave them motivation to perform in front of crowd of 1500 and more. The cultural head committee has been Mrs. Pankaj Sharma from the day of its inception. She kept everything running in unison under her watchful eyes. The vibrations ’09 ended in two days but left behind a far stronger message than before. It will be back, better and stronger.
And lo behold, it did. the 3rd installment of vibrations started again in the month of October gave a breath of fresh air to campus. The third installment of the vibrations took place under the watchful eyes of Mohit Garg. The students buzzed with excitement all the day long. This time the contributions in form of sponsorship had nearly doubled to a staggering 38,000. This not only improved the stage setting but propelled the performance of all events held on it to a new high. The inception of 32 events made sure every student felt as much a part of it as the one whose performance we stood mesmerized at. The generous contribution of all the co-coordinators allowed all the events to be harmonized in a perfect order. The leap of brilliance seen in the performance was worth standing and watching, which could be seen in the backdrop of seating arena. The new events like two-2-tango, talent walk, cross swords,choreo etc were brought to the stage and won many accolades.
The faculty co-coordinator of the event was yet again Mrs. Pankaj Sharma. The events which took place in the inner quadrangle got special attention from the students owing to the fact that the lights and sounds were of supreme quality,JBL. It took the ending ceremony conducted by Mohit and Nidhi at least an hour to read out the names of the successful contestants.

It made a great impact on the minds of the students who were completely absolved into studies. It showed not only there are gpa’s to mind of but there are worth exploring territories which we have never seen before. Vibrations has finally managed to achieve its cherished goal, polishing and refining the students’ personality.
