Verne Harnish is the founder of the world-renowned Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and chaired for fifteen years EO's premiere CEO program, the "Birthing of Giants" and WEO's "Advanced Business" executive program both held at MIT. Founder and CEO of Gazelles, a global executive education and coaching firm, Verne has spend the past 31 years educating entrepreneurial teams. The "Growth Guy" syndicated columnist, he's also the Venture Columnist for Fortune Magazine magazine. Prior to that he was selected as one of "The Top Ten Minds In Small Business" by the magazine. He's the author of Mastering the Rockefeller Habits which is endorsed by over 100 CEO's of mid-size companies and is published in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Serbian, Polish, Dutch, German and Spanish. Verne, along with the editors of Fortune, has also authored The Greatest Business Decisions of All Time, for which Jim Collins wrote the foreword. Verne also chairs annual Growth Summits in North America, Australia, Europe, and Latin America and continues to teach in the MIT based executive program he founded and the "Taipan: Making of Asian Giants" program he co-chaired for 10 years. He also led the first delegation of young entrepreneurs to Mainland China. Residing in Barcelona, Spain, he's married with four children and enjoys piano, tennis and magic as a card-carrying member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
