Vem Miller

Vem Miller is an American director, executive producer and creative content writer. After graduating with an undergraduate degree from UCLA, he gained experience as a short film director. He got his break as a music video director after directing videos for artists like John Mayer, DMX, Master P, Cam’ron, The Apex Theory, Kenna and others. In 2010, Vem made a transition and worked for documentary televisions and has created and produced shows for A&E, Discovery, Spike, History, Fuse, and others.
Early life and career
Miller grew up in Los Angeles, California and received an undergraduate degree from UCLA in English and American literature. He gained experience in filmmaking while directing short films which have screened at film festivals worldwide. The short films helped him in initiating his music video directing career. He started the “Vem & Tony” directing team, and directed music videos for DMX, Master P., Cam’ron, The Apex Theory, Kenna and others.
In 2003, he started Sweatshop Media, and in 2004 went solo and continued to direct videos for talents like John Mayer, Trey Songz, Sarah Mclaugjlin, Five for fighting, Pat Monohan, Keith Murray, and others. In the meantime, he also directed several commercials including for brands like HBO, Sixt Rent A Car, and Puma.
Television career
In 2010, Vem made a transition to documentary television and has created and produced shows on A&E, Spike, History, Discovery, Fuse and others. Some of his credits include The Extractors, Car Lot Rescue, G-Thing, Tattoo Rescue, Harvest, Disclosure, amongst many others.
