Vectare is a bus company operating bus services in England. They run services in the East Midlands, Essex and the East of England. Their largest local bus operations are based in Essex with services operating in the City of Chelmsford and close to the M11 & M25. History Vectare was founded in 2016 by Peter Nathanail and Dominic Kalantary. By October 2016, it had five employees. Vectare headquarters are based within the innovation centre at Loughborough University. In 2018 Vectare won the New Horizons Award at the UK Bus Awards for their VecTive School Bus Management System. Services Essex Services are operated in partnership with Essex County Council around the Epping, Waltham Cross, Harlow and Ongar areas. In March 2022 Vectare began operating the Chelmsford Park and Ride service on behalf of Essex County Council after gaining the contract from First Essex. Buses run out of a depot in Rettendon, between the A12 & A132 on the old A130. East Midlands Vectare operate services between Bingham & Grantham alongside NottsBus service 833 around Bingham. Dedicated school services are also operated. On 1 August 2022, Vectare launched NovusDirect and NovusFlex in Leicester to replace the ArrivaClick services in partnership with Persimmon Homes. Fleet Vectare's local bus service fleet consists of Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 MMC's & EVM bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
