Vanessa Sotto

Vanessa Anne Gamboa Sotto (born December 14, 1988 in Makati City, Philippines) is a Filipina actress and singer. She is the youngest daughter of actress Helen Gamboa and actor and erstwhile singer Tito Sotto. She is three-eighths-Cebuano and eighth Chinese in paternal side and fourth-Kapampangan and fourth-Spanish both in maternal side.

She is a member of ABS-CBN's elite circle of homegrown talents collectively known as Star Magic.

Biography
She studied at the Colegio San Agustin in Makati. She was born in Makati City, Philippines but grew up in San Diego, California. In 1998, Vanessa moved to San Diego, California with her older brother and sister, when she was 9 and has lived there for five years. After five years, they left U.S and came back to the Philippines, were Vanessa continued her studying in Makati. She has been to Las Vegas, Nevada, where her sister Ciara is now based. She is doing a great job balancing college at De La Salle University-Manila and her showbiz career.

Career
Vanessa started acting, when she was was 4 but later on in her teen years, she left Philippines and moved to San Diego, California where she continued to study. After five years in the United States, she came back to the Philippines and her acting career. At the age of 6, Vanessa started taking singing lessons and lucky for her, she had the voice and was accepted in the music industry. Few years later, Vanessa realised that there was one more thing, she wasnted to pursue and that it was her ambition to become a dancer, So, then at the age of 9, Vanessa started taking dance lessons and learning all the basic moves in different styles of dance. A few years later Vanessa who was 11 was discovered by director Chito S. Roño, who is now her manager and continues to manage her. Later, Vanessa at 14 decided that, she has always loved singing and that she wanted to write and compose her own songs and finally, she was given the opportunity to do that, that she became well known to the whole wide of Philippines and was known for her stage name V.

She has been love-teamed with Rayver Cruz, John Wayne Sace, John Prats, Jason Abalos, Jay-R Siaboc, Danilo Barrios, Carlo Aquino, Lester Llansang and Mark Herras.

She has also been teamed up with older guys in showbiz such as, Vhong Navarro, Spencer Reyes, Mico Palanca, Drew Arellano, Jericho Rosales, Diether Ocampo, Robin Padilla, Piolo Pascual and many more.

Relationship
She has a boyfriend named Angelo Muñoz. Her boyfriend is the younger brother of former actors Carlo and Leandro Muñoz.

Rumours that Rayver Cruz, Carlo Aquino, Mark Herras, John Prats and Marky Cielo are courting Vanessa. Also two members of the dance group called 'Streetboys', Jemarth Lalic and Carlo Quintos are both rumored to be courting Vanessa.

On April 23, 2008, Vanessa confirmed that her and boyfriend Angelo Muñoz have broke-up due to a third-party. When she found out that her boyfriend was already married to a 30-year-old women, who they both have a son named Aiden. She is currently single and is in no rush to have another relationship.

As of April 26, 2008, Rumours that one of the members from the dance group called 'Streetboys' is courting her.
