Vallance F.C.

Vallance F.C were established in 1997 in Bethnal Green, London. They currently play in the Middlesex County Football League. Vallance also have youth teams playing in the Kent Youth Football League and a academy consisting of over 10 teams. The team is managed by co-founder Junel Uddin.
History
Vallance were formed at a time when community football in London Borough of Tower Hamlets. was undergoing major structural changes, e.g. formation of the BFA (Bangladesh Football association UK), introduction of League Bangla and the prestigious Mayor's Cup.
Although officially formed in 1997, the team existed in the Vallance Road area for many years, hence the name "Vallance".
Known as the 'Brothers Team', (i.e. Junel, Runel, Rubel, Ruhel, Nanu), they entered local 5-a-side and 7-a-side football tournaments. They forged relationships with the local youth project at Osmani School on Vallance Road and the venue was used for training.
Vallance typified football at grassroots level, e.g. lack of facilities, lack of funding and organisationally naive but the team survived which is now testament to the hard work put in by Junel Uddin and later Iqbal Hussain, who enjoyed success at Newark United where he developed his football and coaching skills.
Middlesex County Football League
In the 2009/10 season Vallance entered the Middlesex County Football League Premier Division finishing 15th in their debut season, and were subsequently relegated to the First Division (Central and East). The 2010/11 season saw the side pushing for promotion back up to the Premier Division all throughout the season with a 5th Place finish. Also Striker Gerald Chikodza ended the leagues top scorer with a remarkable 27 league goals in 18 games.
