Valaiyar or Valaiyars is a Indian caste found in Madurai,Tirunelveli,Sivagangai region of Tamil Nadu.Profession of these people are hunting and fishing. The TamilNadu government has announced Valaiyar is Most Backward/Denotified Community. Muthuraja/Mutharaiyar are Backward community and Valaiyar are Denotified Community. |
