Utech

Underground Technology (UTech) is a website mainly created for the gaming community to give gamers the news they want to read. Whether it is information about a new or upcoming game, or information about new hardware coming out, then users can discuss the news or even post their own.
History
UTech was founded by Jeremy Davis at age 15 on November 1st 2006 with an idea to create a simple but fairly good looking website for gamers who want the most important news, with a little extra.
Hosting
Over the course of its existence, UTech had gone through many hosts. One of which even being the closet of Jeremy temporarily till a new host was found. It then went on to being hosted by Westhost, until recently where it switched hosts temporarily, to x10hosting. UTech is planning to switch again back to Westhost soon.
General
Underground Technology offers many different things to its users. One of which is fairly new - Game reviews. Currently only PC games are the topic of discussion for UTech, as PC games are all it focuses on with news, game reviews, and its forums.
Community
UTech is very community-driven. People can post pictures of their computer or entire desktop setup for others to rate and comment on. It has a very extensive forum for diverse discussion relating to PC hardware.
Upcoming Projects
The Download Project
UTech has an interesting project coming up soon, and actually was recently released. But unfortunately due to a host switch the project has to be put on hold. Named the "Download Project", it is a torrent site, which offers free-to-download files big or small, and through the bit torrent protocol, as to offer the best speed, and not have to suffer bandwidth costs to do so. The Download Project is run on Diferior, and currently runs as a php tracker, and are working on getting XBTT to work with the site. Unfortunately it has been difficult due to Westhost's end.
