Usergate Mail Server

UserGate Mail Server — This is a shareware program designed for secure e-mailing. The Russian company Entensys developed and designed it to be used by small and medium-sized companies, as well as by the corporate sector.
E-mail management
The Entensys mail server supports LDAP and distribution lists, allowing for work with domains and users. UserGate Mail Server may even be remotely used and managed without the installation of a client. A system of rules to work with messages has also been provided in the product.
Security
UserGate Mail Server supports SSL, POP3s, SMTPs and IMAPs protocols. Three antivirus modules are used to scan e-mail traffic: one from Kaspersky Laboratory, one from Panda Software and the (as announced by the developer) Entensys Zero-hour cloud-based antivirus module.
Antispam
UserGate Mail Server uses several e-mail filtering technologies: DNS (DNSBL, RHSBL, Backscatter, MX, SPF, SURBL), "cloud" antispam, and the Bayesian filtering method designed by Entensys. The developer states that the product detects 97% of spam and the probability of false responses from the filters is very low.
Work with other mail servers
UserGate Mail Server supports integration of IMAP with other mail servers, for instance MS Exchange and Lotus Domino.
Monitoring and statistics
The Entensys mail server monitors the entire messaging process for all mail that appears on the server. UserGate Mail Server permits the filtering of e-mail using several criteria: date, processing status, delivery. E-mail accidently sent to the spam box may be resent with the assistance of this function. The product also supports work with exception lists.
Archiving
UserGate Mail Server features e-mail archiving. If it's required to move mail, then is done by copying several folders and files. A rollback (back up) feature has not yet been developed for this product.
