Summary
Since the turn of the century, the gaming industry has seen a huge upswing in user-generated content. This is due in part to the increase in flash-savvy gamers, and in part to the release of easy-to-use creation interfaces such as released by Enterbrain in April, 2000. MTVN's Dave Williams had this to say about user-generated games: "Games like this have been sort of under the radar for something that could be the basis of a business. We have the resources and we can afford to invest more... I think it's going to be a great thing for the consumer."
