UpGo is an application for Facebook that allows users to visually sort friends into groups. The application plots the user's friends on a radar. Using selected parameters such as "nearby" or "high interaction," the application sends those friends who meet the selected criteria toward the center of the radar while those that don't move further away. From here, users are allowed to save several friends into groups for later use. Similarly, users can invite selected groups to events from the user's Facebook event feed or create a new event. UpGo was recently named one of five startups to watch at the New York Tech Meetup by Max Vishnev.
UpGo released a mobile version of their application which is currently available for the iPhone.
