An untitled game in The Legend of Zelda series was officially confirmed by series creator Shigeru Miyamoto during E3 2008; the title will be released for the Wii. During E3 2009, Miyamoto revealed concept art for the title, depicting series protagonist Link. He was described as "...an adult Link. More grown up than ever before." Miyamoto also stated that his team would like to make the title compatible with Wii Motion Plus, possibly exclusively. He also hinted that the archery and swordplay might be similar to the type featured in Wii Sports Resort. He added that the series could be improved upon by making the characters more identifiable with the player. On June 4, Nintendo officially released the game's promotional artwork that was shown behind closed doors at E3. In an interview with IGN, Shigeru Miyamoto said: "Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood. There is one hint. Maybe from the art work you can see that he's not holding a sword." This has led some to speculate that the female character behind Link in the promotional artwork released is in fact his Master Sword.
