Untitled Myles Kennedy solo album

The debut solo album by Myles Kennedy, announced in early 2009, is currently set for release in 2012. He mentioned in an interview with MusicRadar that he would like to release the album on December 21, 2012. The album will feature guest appearances by Mark Tremonti and Slash. As of January 2011, he has only the vocals to finish and the record will be complete.
Background
Kennedy first announced that he was working on a solo side project in early 2009, when his main project, the hard rock group Alter Bridge, took a break for the members to focus on other projects. He later posted on his Myspace page that he is working with some "great people" and that details would be coming at a later date. Slash, whom Kennedy has collaborated with extensively, announced via Facebook on February 1, 2010 that he would be appearing on Kennedy's solo record, and Kennedy confirmed this via Myspace. Alter Bridge and Creed lead guitarist Mark Tremonti will likely make an appearance as well. Kennedy had originally wanted to release the record in early 2010, digitally first and then on CD, but he later put its release on hold in order to focus on his work with Alter Bridge and Slash. However, he recently said that he wants to release it on December 21, 2012 as a joke. In another interview, he confirmed that the only thing left to finish are the vocals.
Composition
Kennedy has described his record as being "dreamy" and " aggressive," saving those songs for Alter Bridge. He said, "It's more singer/songwriter based. I will say it's going to be interesting."
Confirmed tracks
In the same interview with Guitarist, three song tiles have been revealed: "The Bar Fly," "Complicated Man," and "The Light of Day."<ref name="guitarist"/>
