Mainstream success
in early 2004 many record companies started showing interest in the UFRFPTCB scene, and a heated battle was on to secure these artists. Many bands chose to stick the independant labels while others such as No Direction chose to go to major labels. This has sparked contreversy from the fans claiming that these bands where selling jesus short, however No Direction chose to go back to an indie label after lead singer Tom Hellier caused trouble in an interview with 60 minutes. the scene has died down a bit since late 2004 but is expected to return to the mainstream music scene very soon.

One of the great UTRFPTCB frontmen, Alan Sims was once quoted saying ".....this music genre has given me a purpose , without it i dont know where i would be or what i would be doing. Alan is the bass player for both 'No direction' and 'The Jarrod Graham' Experience. He is also close friends with the pioneer of UTRFPTCB, Ashley Madden.

Decline and death of maunstream success
The genre reached a stand still in mid 2006 after Tom Hellier released his first solo album "Roses and Opium" and released a press statement saying "No Derection are just a band out there for money were not Christian were really Islamic extremists using the money to fund the The Nation of Islam".
