Unc football investigations

| The University of North Carolina football program is being investigated for academic infractions. A tutor for the University of North Carolina, also employed as an academic caregiver and supporter for head coach Butch Davis's son, has been linked writing term papers for several UNC football players. As of September 2nd, Joe Schad of ESPN is reporting that up to 16 North Carolina Tar Heel football players may not make the trip to Atlanta to take on the LSU Tigers on Saturday, September 4th, 2010. The Tar Heels will leave for Atlanta on Friday, September 3rd, 2010 and it will be determined who will make the trip. The LSU vs UNC game will be aired in prime time as the ABC Saturday Night game of the week at 8:00 pm on September 4th. |
