Ultimate Baseball League

The Ultimate Baseball League is a new independent professional baseball league based out of Canton, Ohio, and is expected to start play in a shortened 42 game schedule with four to six teams in 2011 and a full schedule in 2012. The league plans on featuring teams east of the Mississippi River from New York to Georgia. Two expansion teams have already been announced, Canton and Johnstown. The league is founded by co-owners Michael Taylor and Andrew Haines. Their director of media relations in J. Ameer Rahseed.
