This massage chair is produced by Brookstone, company specializes in relaxation and massage items such as foot massagers, handheld massagers and massage chairs, it also produces more exotic items such as wireless outdoor speakers and automatic wine openers. The company is in business since 1965.

The chair has several positive and also negative sides to it, which will be reviewed below.

Main characteristics of the chair include:

The concept of the chair is widely used by massage therapists. Heat, music and the body massage are found in all high Quality Spas. It appears that Brookstone was able to pull off the concept with the OSIM Uharmony Massage Chair which is currently growing in popularity. It’s other uComfort model was not as successful, but it appears that company has learned from it’s mistakes.

One of the downsides that people usually complain about is the weight of the item which is 220 lbs, but as per the maker this was inevitable since the chair holds many massage components and electronics. Another downside is the price, it’s close to 4,000$ dollars, but can be purchased for less on Amazon. A smaller downside is that the buttons are not backlit.

Dimensions of the chair are: Upright - 33" (W) x 28" (W) x 43" (H) Reclined -33" (W) x 70"(L)x 30"(H). The massages include: the neck and back massages of 6 types and foot rolling massages of 2 types, all have adjustable strength levels.

The refurbished model we ordered was unbelievably trashed upon receipt and seemed to have missed the whole refurbishment process. We knew there was a lot wrong with it but didn't realize just how many things were broken on it until we traded the refurbished model in on a brand new model. We love the new one and are happy we paid the difference to upgrade to a new one.
