Uday Dutt (born 18 April, 1961) is an investment banker. He currently resides in India. School Life Uday Dutt earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Hindu College, Delhi. Later he also earned a master's degree in business administration in finance from FMS, Delhi University.. Career Dutt began his career with American Express in 1982. He managed the franchises in the Indian subcontinent (India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka). He overlooked 15 American Express branches and managed transactions with 3,500 banks and 8,700 merchant establishments. Because of his good work, Dutt was named manager of the year at American Express in 1983, 1984 and 1895. In 1986, Dutt then joined Citibank. He headed their credit and risk department. Dutt was part of the Citibank core team that setup consumer banking operations in India. Dutt also played a pivotal role in acquiring the Diner's Club franchise. Currently, Dutt is the managing partner at Investor's Trust, a boutique investment bank in India.
