Uba Tanko Mijinyawa popularly known as Uba Danzainab (Uba Son of Zainab, Zainab is his mother's name), a businessman, Activist and a Nigerian politician who is the Director General of the new established Directorate in Kano State the Cottage Trades and Street Hawking, the Directorate is under the Office of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
Political career
Danzainab the close associate to Dr Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, Deputy Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Danzainab was appointed the Director General of new established Directorate, Cottage Trades and Street Hawking in 2019 by the Governor of Kano State Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, he also served as Special Adviser on New Media between 2017 and 2018 where he used to represent the Governor in business related issues being a businessman and also a politician , Danzainab also serve as Senior Special Assistant Sports between 2015 and 2017.
During the administration Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso between 2012 and 2015, he served as Senior Special Assistant on Sports because of his passion to sports which made him part of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as member of subcommittee, Marketing, Sponsorship and Television Advisory Committee He was also the member Rabiu Kwankwaso's Transition Committee in 2011.
Because of his popularity on Social Media, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in there press release, mention him as the Senior Special Assistant on New Media and also Salihu Tanko Yakasai who happing to be the Senior Special Assistant on New Media was also mention as Director General on Media while they where accused of not declare all their assets in 2020 he was also accused of publishing fake result of 2019 Nigerian General Election by (PDP) where they called for his arrest, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) asked the public to disregard any information on social media because of the petition of (PDP) to INEC against Danzainab post on Facebook
Business
Danzainab is the CEO of Zainab Sure General Enterprises Limited, which made him part of many Trade associations, he is the Council Member of Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA) who is serving as the Deputy President he use to also represent the president of KACCIMA in several occasions. and also Public Relation Officer of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture NACCIMA he is also a National Council Member of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Danzainab is also the Vice President of Commerce Coalition of Northern States Chambers of Commerce
Uba Danzainab lost his Mother in 2012, in her memory he established Charity Organization called Danzainab Awqaf Foundation which he use to contribute especially to the health sector in Kano State
