Twingo Snooker, A variation on the game of Car Cricket, the main difference being that it is based on the game of snooker rather than cricket. It can be played while travelling, ideally during a car journey or on foot in areas where there are lots of motor vehicles. Rules Players get points for spotting different coloured Renault Twingo's. Points are awarded based on the rules of snooker for example; red Twingo's are worth 1 point, black Twingo's are worth 7 points. Players must shout "Twingo" and the colour of the said Twingo to be awarded the points. Points can only be awarded to the first person to spot the Twingo in question and call "Twingo". If the shout is inaccurate for example the player shouts "Twingo black" and the Twingo turns out to be blue or if a player calls "Twingo white" then 4 points are deducted from the players score the equivalent of a fowl in snooker. Twingo snooker is often played in Italy, Spain and Germany by holiday makers, on account of the Twingo being a more popular car in these countries. Origins Twingo snooker was invented by Mr Ian Chandler of Wickwar (South Gloucestershire) and family some time in the 1990's See Also Car Cricket
