The Turin bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics was the successful bid launched by the Italian National Olympic Committee on 11 November 1998 to host the 2006 Winter Olympics in the city of Turin, Italy. Turin's bid was selected in June 1999 out of the 6 bids submitted to the International Olympic Committee.
