Tungekar is a prominent Muslim Kokani family of Uran, Maharashtra, India which achieved its great wealth from salt mining. In the early 1900s, the Times of India dubbed the family, "King of Salts." Notable among them for his charitable works is Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed Jaffer Tungekar in the early 20th century.
