Tucker Baynes, portrayed by Bruce Boxleitner, is a fictional character in the ABC political drama Commander in Chief. He is a Republican and a former Governor of Oklahoma. Baynes is a close ally of Speaker of the House Nathan Templeton. He was heavily supported by Templeton to be the new Vice President in President Mackenzie Allen's administration. However, President Allen chose retired General Warren Keaton to be her vice president instead. Former Governor Baynes was involved in a sexual harassment incident with one of his aides. He settled out of court and the information was never released to the press. |
