Tuấn Anh is a Vietnamese American that was born in Saigon, South Vietnam and he immigrated to the United States. He started his singing career in the late 1970s and he is based in California.
Tuấn Anh is a male entertainer. He is one of the first well-known Vietnamese singers to perform in drag. The conservative Vietnamese culture was surprisingly accepting of his appearance and persona. There is little information on his sexual orientation. However, off-stage he is often observed by witnesses to carry with him a distinctly male demeanour. One of his most famous songs is Trái tim ngục tù.
