Trumperism

Trumperism, A Movement
'Trumperism' first appeared in the news media as a way to describe both the rise to political power of Donald J. Trump in the lead up to the Presidential elections of 2016, and the merging of his particular brand of right wing ideology with that of the more fringe Alt-Right conservative members of the Republican political spectrum. Once the Trump campaign brought on board the former head of FOX News, Roger Ailes, and the former head of Breitbart News, Steve Bannon, the term started to make the rounds in political discussions about the election cycle. Journalists across news and social media cycles all around the world are using the term "Trumperism," and the term is gaining popularity.
