TriShell

triShell is a Windows shell-alternative available with Simplify Desktop released by triCerat in 2006. The triShell was designed to deploy secured Windows shells to end-users in corporate environments. The administrator builds the triShell configuration from the ground-up, customizing personalized settings for individual users. The triShell replaces the Windows Explorer Shell's Desktop, Start Menu, and Taskbar. User interaction is locked-down; for example, the user has very limited right-click options and malicious executables such as taskmgr.exe and control.exe are inaccessible. triShell is supported by Windows 5 and Windows operating systems, although it is typically used in multi-user environment such as Terminal and Citrix Servers.
