Trillionaire

A trillionaire is a person who has a net worth of at least one trillion(1,000,000,000,000) units of currency, such as United States dollars, U.K. pounds, euro, or Zimbabwean dollars. Before the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe removed 12 zeros from the dollar, everyone legally entitled to possess currency in the country was a trillionaire in local currency terms because of the 10, 20, 50 and 100 trillion dollar banknotes. Now the trillionaires are gone. There are no, nor have there ever been any American dollar trillionaires, and in fact, combining the net assets of the 100 richest people on Earth would hardly equal that amount. Likewise, there has never been any corporation valued at that amount in any measurement of assets. |
