</ref> Prior to May 2021 massage parlors fell in a legal grey-area for prostitution according to city ordinances, with sexual acts in them being classified as a "body rub" and not technically illegal. At a campaign event at Regina's Wesley United Church mostly attended by senior citizens, Wowk was booed and heckled when he claimed climate change didn't exist. Wowk earned a perfect score from the Campaign Life Coalition. On June 12, 2020, Wowk was charged with fraudulently forging confirmation of employment letters and for knowingly possessing the identity information of another individual. Wowk posted bail and was released on a series of conditions but would be taken back into custody due to a breach in his curfew and posted bail a second time. On June 21, 2024, Wowk was charged by Saskatchewan judge Lane Wiegers for violating the provincial Tobacco Tax Act for possessing unstamped tobacco in Regina. On January 28, 2025, Wowk faced two more charges for improper storage of two firearms, and two more charges for possessing the firearms without a proper license. 75px
