Trevor van Mierlo is a digital health economist and entrepreneur whose research focuses on econometrics and consumer health informatics. His speciality involves the application of risk stratification techniques to phenomenon such as , power laws, the practical application of social network analysis, and associations between behavioral economics to cooperative games. Personal life According to a 2014 interview, van Mierlo was born in Northern Ontario, Canada. He was the first member of his family to attend college, and his undergraduate degree was in humanities and not a STEM field. In the mid-1990s he began working for Mediconsult.com, a 1999 Webby Award nominee, as a project manager. He is founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Evolution Health Systems in 2000, and is a Centre Fellow at the Canadian Centre for Health Economics.
