Tree of life garden

Located in Valley Center, CA, the Tree of Life (Walk) Garden (or the Kabala Garden) was completed in 2007 and is the first of its kind to ever be built. Since then, another Tree of Life Garden has been built at the in El Cajon, California. The Garden sits on over one acre of gently sloping land and is based on the study of the Kabala and the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life in the Kabala was developed to be a is a symbolic walk to spiritual enlightenment. In building this Garden strict conformance was observed to the geometric ratios of the ten Sephirot. The Tree of Life was recreated on the ground in a garden that people could actually walk through and physically experience this spiritual exercise. The Garden has been visited by Kabalists and Rabbis from all over San Diego County and as far away as Israel.
Visitors who walk the Garden start at the bottom at a point of meditation. Inscribed on the boulder in the center of the patio in Hebrew is the Shema Yisrael, the password given to Abraham explaining that God's creation is one and we are all one with God eternally.
From there to the first sephirah at the bottom of the tree Malkuth who represents the Kingdom of Earth or 'Man'. And then to Yesod who helps us to "translate spiritual concepts into actions that unite us with God". From Yesod, two paths may be taken, the Masculine Sephiroth, the five parts of the Soul, or the Feminine Sephiroth, the five Elementals. The walk culminates at Keter (Kether) which is the 'Regal Crown' of the Sephirot. At this point in the Garden was placed a 22' diameter dome that has a 4' hole in the center of the roof with the Hebrew symbol for negative existense written across it. In entering the dome, one in effect becomes one with Yaweh. The dome was designed to have incredible acoustics and when visitors engage in 'Ohm' chants, the effect is overwhelming.
Geometry
This walk is based on Sacred Geometry manifested by the intertwining relationships of the seven circles that define and locate the points of the Tree of Life. When a solution is so fundamentally elegant, there is always a more profound reason for it. There are 10 Spheres (Sephirots) and they are connected to each other with 22 Paths. Each of the Paths is identified with: *A Letter in Hebrew Alphabet *A Zodiacal Sign or Body. *Each Sephirot has a plant and a fragrance associated with it.
The Tree of Life is composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged so that they form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry like a hexagon. The center of each circle is on the circumference of six surrounding circles of the same diameter. In order to draw this, first create a circle. The radius of the original circle is divided by three to create the radius of six new circles each touching the next and all just touching the original large circle. In the center of those six circles goes one more of the same size, it sits inside the six and touches each of them. the points where these circles touch each other are the points of the sephirots.
