Kentray Young, widely known as "Tray Savage", was an American rapper and producer from Chicago, Illinois. He was signed to various record label<nowiki/>s such as Glory Boyz Entertainment owned by Chicago rapper and producer Chief Keef. He was notorious for his songs "Know Who I Am" and "Faces". Young was a known member of the Black Disciples Gang. He was featured on Chief Keef's mixtape "The W", as well as various popular music videos on social media. Young frequently referenced his gang affiliation in his artwork. He supprisingly accumulated over 210,000 followers on Instagram during his career. On June 19, 2020, Young was shot and killed while driving in the south side of Chicago. Initial reports state Young had just dropped off his girlfriend in the area when shots rang out moments later. Young was struck in the neck and shoulder, and reportedly continued driving, striking 3 nearby cars. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Authorities revealed that witnesses reported seeing a "white SUV, possibly a Mazda" speeding away from the scene. Hours later, Savage’s death was confirmed in a tweet from friend and fellow Chicago rapper, SG Batman. He tweeted, “Rest in peace savage realist n****. I love you big bro.”
