Travelive is a luxury travel company specializing in custom made luxury vacations, honeymoons, cruises and private yacht charters.
History
Travelive was founded in 2001 by Panos Chalvantzis and Mina Agnos. Agnos was listed by PhoCusWright as the first Young Leader announced as part of the 2010 Class of 35. The Class of 35 is PhoCusWright’s top 35 rising stars in the online travel industry that are aged 35 and under.
Initial focus was on Destination Weddings for the Caribbean, Mexico, and Santorini, Greece in addition to hotel bookings within the U.S.
In 2006, the company shifted strategy and focused on the luxury travel market. Emphasis was given to custom itineraries and customer service and support. Within the year, the company relaunched Travel2Greece.com which provided luxury travel services for Greece including Athens, Mainland Greece, Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, and Rhodes.
In 2008, the company launched Travel2Italy.com, with similar services for Italy, followed by Travel2Egypt.com with services for Egypt.
In 2010, Travelive launched Travel2Turkey.com.
Products and services
Travelive specializes in luxury Foreign Independent Travel (FIT), semi-private group tours, cruises and tours in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Kenya.
Partners
Travelive has a direct relation with luxury hotels in addition to cooperating with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Luxury Collection by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and Virtuoso Hotels in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Kenya.
