Tracy C. Martin (born July 29th 1962) in Dayton,Ohio and now resides in Columbus,Ohio is a baseball collector and historian. His love and passion for the game of baseball began in the 1970's following the Cincinnati Reds. He began collecting baseball cards, posters and pennants. His love for history and baseball collided when he began playing vintage base ball for the "OHIO VILLAGE MUFFINS". With a vision of putting together a baseball collection that shows the evolution of equipment from the 1850's - 2000. He is the founder of the Baseball Collectors Hall of Fame, Vintagebaseballcollector.com a website set up to honor those who have a passion and knowledge to research and preserve artifacts of our national pastime. Martin is also the curator of Martin's Baseball Museum. Martin has been collecting baseball memorabilia since 1975. His collection is a time line of baseball history in equipment and memorabilia consisting of over 3,000 items dating back to the 1850s. Some of Martin's greatest finds include an 1871 Mort Rogers score card which was scored with a game between the Boston and Washington clubs played in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 4, 1871.
