Toyota Sports Connection is a daily sports television show that airs on the Tampa Bay, Florida local news station, Bay News 9. The show also airs on a local sports station called Catch 47. The show is currently hosted by Rock Riley Sundays through Thursdays and Joe Girvan on Fridays and Saturdays. History The show began in 1996 hosted by David Logan who died in 1999 of heart failure. Rock Riley stepped in to host and is scheduled to host until 2010 when his contract ends. Girvan will host until December 2010. David Logan Scholarship The David Logan Scholarship is a scholarship that is given to local honors students once a year in tribute to former host David Logan. |
