Total Slacker, is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York, consisting of Emily Oppenheimer, Ross Condon and Tucker Rountree The NY Press, New Yorker Magazine,Village Voice and Black Book Magazine respectively have written in print about this young band, attributing their sound as a unique blend of psychedelia and garage rock. A sound shaped out of the Brooklyn Lo-Fi scene. They have one 7 inch record on Impose Magazine- records, featuring their single "Crystal Necklace", released in 2010.And a 2nd release exclusive for Indie label: Brekfast of Champs records. They were featured at this year's 2010 South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.
