Tosan Popo

Tosan Emiko Ebigbeyi Popo (born 26 September 1992 in Hutton, Essex, England) is an English footballer.
Career
Popo started his career in the youth system at Chelsea, where he played for the club between U9 and U12 level, but left the club due to school commitments and travel issues. Two years later in 2005 he signed for West Ham United where he stayed for three years playing up to U15 level. He featured in pre-season games for the first team in 2011 and scored a goal against Bromley. He made his debut for the first team on 13 September 2011, in the League Cup second round tie against Preston North End, in a 2-0 defeat. He replaced Danny Green as a substitute in the second half. In mid-December 2011 he joined Chelmsford City on loan until 14 January 2012, which was later extended to 18 February. At the end of the 2011/12 January transfer window, Popo moved on loan to San Roque de Lepe with Spanish club mate Ruben Bover Izquierdo. In May 2012, Popo was released from Charlton after being told his contract would not be renewed.
Personal life
Popo was born in Hutton, Essex to a Nigerian father and an English mother. He is elegible to play for England or Nigeria.
