Tom Putnam is an American film director, producer and screenwriter.
Biography Putnam was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attended The University of Southern California, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Journalism and cinema-television production.
With his partners Michael Harbour and Jeff Malmberg, Putnam divides his time between fiction features and documentaries such as the World War II feature Red, White Black and Blue, about a secret Japanese invasion of Alaska.
In 2004 Putnam wrote, produced and directed his first, autobiographical short film Tom Hits His Head. Other films include the Sundance Film Festival short Broadcast 23.
