Todd Harrison

Todd Andrew Harrison (born 23 June 1969), is Founder and CEO of Minyanville Media. He has over eighteen years of experience on Wall Street, beginning with seven years as vice president of the worldwide equity derivatives desk at Morgan Stanley. In 1997 Harrison became a managing director of derivatives at the Galleon Group. In 2000, he joined $400 million hedge fund Cramer, Berkowitz as partner and head of trading. He then served as president of the firm from January 2001 to January 2003. From July 2000 through September 2001, Harrison was the Featured Columnist on TheStreet.com's Realmoney.com financial website. In 2002, Harrison founded Minyanville, a community with the mission, "to effect positive change through financial understanding, from the ABC's to the 401(K)'s." Mr. Harrison is also founder of the Ruby Peck Foundation for Children's Education founded in honor of his grandfather. On 2 December 2008, Harrison and Minyanville Media won its first Emmy Award for New Approaches to Business and Financial Reporting for its animated business news show, “Minyanville’s World in Review with Hoofy and Boo”. In 2008 Todd was listed on Silicon Alley Insiders annual list of the entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and technologists who are making waves in the New York digital business community. Todd has lectured at numerous universities including Harvard, Syracuse, Northern Kentucky, the Wharton School of Finance and NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Morgan Stanley
Todd Harrison began his professional career at Morgan Stanley, where he spent seven years on the worldwide equity derivatives desk in New York City, where he became vice president by age 26.

In 1997, Harrison became managing director of derivatives at Galleon Group.
Cramer Berkowitz
In 2000, Todd joined $400 million hedge fund Cramer, Berkowitz as partner and head of trading. He then served as president of the firm from January 2001 to January 2003.

Minyanville Media Inc.
In 2002 Harrison stepped down from his position at Cramer, Berkowitz and launched the Ruby Peck Foundation for Children’s Education, in honor of his grandfather Ruby, and Minyanville, "to affect positive change through financial understanding."
