Todd Delmay is the Founder and CEO of Mountaintop University, a Knowledge Networking™ organization. He is an author, entrepreneur, and public speaker. Early life and education Todd Delmay was born in 1971 in Fremont, Michigan, to Lyle and Peg May, although he changed his last name to Delmay in 2010 prior to the birth of his son, Blake Delmay. The name is a hybrid of his birth last name and his partner Jeff’s birth last name Delsol. Delmay graduated with a BA degree from Hope College in Holland, where he majored in both Theatre and German, while also studying Dance. He is a MBA candidate at Strayer University, and has received extensive training and education in the field of business networking. History After college, Delmay lived in Berlin and London before returning to the US and beginning a career in the travel industry, first as a tour director for Tauck World Discovery, then later as the Owner of Identity Travel, and more recently as CEO of Delmay Corporation, which provides hotel reservation services for events that utilize more than one hotel for exhibitors and/or attendees. In 2011, Delmay became a bestselling author, and founded Mountaintop University, a Knowledge Networking™organization (initially promoted as The NET Learning Center), and a free social learning platform. Mountaintop University is the first social learning platform for business professionals, built around the principle of Knowledge Networking™, a real-time information exchange, Mountaintop University allows business professionals to share their experience, connect, and learn from other professionals. Delmay’s recent book “Building The Ultimate Network” was a bestseller on two national lists, and earned him the prestigious Editor’s Choice Award. Delmay is a frequent writer and contributor on business topics, but more specifically on the “Magic Words” business owners need to find and create the relationships that help them build their ultimate network. Delmay has authored numerous articles, training manuals and other publications for business.
