Todavia Nos Queremos is the debut album from American composer/performer Roland Ruby, released in 2006. Produced by Christian Fabian. Entire lyrics are in Spanish. This CD features songs that tell a romantic story of long distance love. From the opening notes of "Abrazame" to the rocking "Seis Cuerdas y Madera" to the vamping titular track, the listener is guided through themes of heartbreak and redemption. The eighth track, "Hombre del Mar", written by a then 19-year-old Roland Ruby, is a tragic love story featuring Kerry Fernandez on lead vocals. The prequel to this story is presented through the songs in the follow-up CD First Kisses and Final Requests. Making of the record The Roland Ruby Band (Gates Thomas on Piano/Keyboards; Kerry Fernandez on Vocals; Christian Fabian on Bass; Willard Dyson on Drums; Gilad on Percussion and Roland Ruby on Vocals/Guitars) consisted of seasoned recording and touring NYC area musicians.
