Tommy Hanna, better known as TIMZ, is a rapper from El Cajon near San Diego, California. While TIMZ is his stage name, his real name is Tommy Hanna. He was born in San Diego, California to a Chaldean family that emigrated from Baghdad, Iraq in the 1970s.
He is a Catholic, and recently proclaimed his support for the troops in Iraq, meaning that the war isn't their fault.
TIMZ has gained global exposure, and a fair degree of notoriety, with his song aptly named, "Iraq". Many have claimed that this song is dedicated to sending a message to the US President, George W. Bush. The following paragraph, found in the song "Iraq", seems to clearly support those claims:
:Dear, Mr. George Bush, :why do you insist on making a fool of us? :for over 200 years, we stood for what's good, :now we despise by our peers, :this ain't gonna last for long, they wish us dead, George, :you're only wish has gone. And what do you do? :But add fuel to the fire and send in more troops...
The song appears on his debut album entitled Open For Business which won him the 2006 Annual San Diego music award.
Chuck Norris was joined by Tommy Hanna on Fox News, TIMZ, claimed once again that he has received numerous emails from troops in Iraq showing their support for his work.
In his spare time, TIMZ assists in running his parents' liquor store. He also has a hit called "Super Chargers 2006", which is an alternate theme song for NFL's San Diego Chargers.
