Thomas Montgomery-Cuninghame (circa 1808 - August 1870) was the 8th Baronet of Corsehill. Early Life Born in Marleybone, Middlesex, second son and one of 7 children to Sir James Montgomery-Cuninghame, 6th Baronet of Corsehill and Kirkterholm and Janet Cuming, daughter of Thomas Cumming Esq. of the family of Cumming of Elmside. His eldest brother, Sir Alexander David Montgomery-Cuninghame, 7th Baronet died 8 June 1846 at the family seat of Corsehill so Thomas Montgomery-Cuninghame succeeded to the title and became the 8th Baronet. Having just been appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Ayrshire Montgomery-Cuninghame was presented by Archibald Montgomerie, 13th Earl of Eglinton to Queen Victoria in St. James's Palace on Tuesday, 26 February 1852.
