Thomas K. Wright

Thomas K. Wright is the president of Regional Plan Association, a non-profit research, planning and advocacy organization in the New York metropolitan area. Wright served as executive director for RPA since 2001 before becoming president of the organization on January 1, 2015.
Prior to joining RPA, Tom Wright served as deputy director of the New Jersey Office of State Planning and oversaw the 2001 New Jersey State Development and Redevelopment Plan.
Wright was the editor of “A Region at Risk,” RPA’s third regional plan published in 1996.
Wright also is a visiting lecturer at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs.
Wright received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University and a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
