Thomas Aquinas House

Thomas Aquinas House is one of the houses in the house system of Covington Latin School. Founded in August 2013, St. Thomas Aquinas was chosen as it's namesake for his scholarly influence among other attributes.
About
Since it’s founding, Aquinas house has gone through several faculty leaders: Mr. Marks/Mr. Whitehead (2013-14), Mr. Morozovs (2015), and Mr. Morison (2015-present). Aquinas House is factually the superior house of Covington Latin School. It’s official colors are navy blue and white and the house mascots are an ox (hence Thomas Aquinas, “the Dumb Ox”) and the phoenix (displayed on the house banner (cred: Daniel Zalla ‘16)). Aquinas House has been located in room 301 (2013-15), and room L02 (2015-present).
Significant Achievements
Significant achievements include:
- Dominating in the 2015 End-of-Year CLS Picnic, and the 2016 Olympic day tug-of-war contest.
- Winning the 2016 house video contest.
