Thomas Anthony

Thomas Anthony (born March 12, 1983 in Budapest, Hungary) is a singer, songwriter, composer, musician, producer, sound engineer. He started his musical career as a bass guitarist at age 15. At the beginning he wrote only instrumental songs for his band "Final Sentence". After few years he started to write lyrics for his compositions and on concerts he performed them. When his band broke up, he continued alone, and learnt to play on other instruments (guitar, drum, piano), in order to create the music he imagined. In 1999 he met Suzy Storm, who later becomes his singer.

Thomas Anthony’s compositions are influenced by classical music in its style of playing and composing (e.g. polyphony and harmony) and by the late 1970s,1980s and the early 1990s.
His music contains complex musical structures and poetic, conceptually themed lyrics. The voices are treated like musical instruments. His music's melodies, harmonies, rhythms and dynamics are used to underscore the philosophical message of the lyrics have.
The content of the songs, are reflecting an interest in the relationship between man and God.In his lyrics Thomas answer questions that have existed for as long as the human race: the ultimate nature of reality, being, including free will, existence, destiny, possibility, ethic, etc.

:"Life is a rolling sea

:But the boat is so fragile

:Who knows whence blows the wind?

:Who knows how deep is the water?"
