The X-15s

The X-15s are a American rockabilly band that was formed in 2004 in Vancouver, Washington. It's founder Ace Andres spawned the X-15s for the album Hunka Gyrations. A collection of Rockabilly covers that had been done by Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, The Righteous Brothers ,Ritchie Valens and Roy Orbison. All of the artists that were covered were associated with the Sam Phillips era (1955- 1959). This time period coincided with America's devotion to the "Space Race".
