The Verbal Surgeon (born May 08, 1993), is an American rapper out of Massachusetts. His work is noted for its heavy usage of syllable word play and versatility. His music has been featured on sites such as MassHipHop World Star Urban Hip Hop is Dream and many more. He was an editors pick on FOUR5SIX.net and was interviewed by the site. He recently just released his second mixtape Annotations of a Surgeon for free download which features 26 tracks that were recorded in his own home studio. Staying Independent After the release of his first Self-titled mixtape The Verbal Surgeon was contacted by a small indie label based out of Connecticut. After spending two days at the studio and recording Universal Love & No Comparison he didn't feel the label would guide him in the right direction. He then parted ways when asked to sign a record contract and decided to make Annotations of a Surgeon a self-released project. After parting ways the label made a blog post stating they dropped The Verbal Surgeon. The inactivity since then shows The Surgeon made the proper choice in leaving.
