The Staves

The Staves are a British folk band formed in 2005 in Watford, United Kingdom consisting of members Emily Staveley-Taylor (vocals), Jessica Staveley-Taylor (acoustic guitar), and Camilla Staveley-Taylor (ukulele). The Staves began gigging in local pubs and cafes across the United Kingdom and write and perform songs with three-part harmonies that portray messages of love & longing. The group's main influences include Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and The Beatles.
The group released their first EP entitled, Facing West in June 2010 which includes the songs "Facing West", "The Fire", and "Mexico". They have provided vocals for the artists Tom Jones and Fionn Regan amongst others.

The Staves will begin their UK tour in April 2011.
