The Stables is an inimate music venue in the centre of Mullingar, Ireland. It is dived into two sections. The front area is called the Yukon Bar is usually where up and coming signer-songwriters perform acoustic sets, while the main venue known as The Stables is where established national bands usually play amid an Irish tour. It has a capacity of 300.
Bands such as The Blizzards, The Frames, Damien Rice, Mic Christopher, Bell X1, The Coronas, Relish, Sharon Shannon, Paddy Casey, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Rob Smith, Damien Dempsey, Mundy and many more have all played the venue. It has had visitors such as Adam Clayton and Shaun Ryder visit the venue for a drink.
