The Splott Division

The Splott Division is a webseries created by Trusty Sidekick Productions, who are Jonathan Ash and Tim Howard who met whilst training as actors at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. They created the webseries alongside BAFTA Cymru winning director David J Evans. The series is released on Monday 28 February and centres around three Superheroes living in Splott coming to terms with redundancy. The series also stars Welsh Actress and former Skins star Siwan Morris, Gareth Pierce (Y Pris), and Lee Mengo (Indian Doctor). Speaking of the press launch The Guardian wrote: "The five-minute instalments are developed especially for the web with tantalising precision - quickly drawing in the viewer with sharp cuts to new scenes, comic pauses and witty interjections between characters - all linked up with more action than you'd think possible to squeeze into the tiny Youtube clips."
